Neighborhood Schools Inc. is a non-profit whose goal is to provide quality educational options for students in under resourced communities but also to partner with others to fulfill the needs of the families and neighborhood. Winter storm Uri has increased the need of food in our city. For this event, we are partnering with Gallery Furniture, Work Texas and Premier High School to serve families in north Houston and surrounding areas. Feel free to bring a hand written/scripture note to add to the box and bless the family that receives the food. (feeding the body and soul) We encourage everyone to follow these procedures to help keep yourself and others healthy. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell, especially if you are running a fever. Please stay home if you have been in contact with someone who is not feeling well, or had tested positive for COVID -19. Please stay home if you have traveled internationally/nationally in the last 2 weeks. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Cough or sneeze into your elbow. We will need help with Setup/breakdown, bagging food, registration and parking guidance. Schedule Setup, sort food, registration: 8-9 am Distribute food: 9-11 am Clean-up/tear down: 11 am - 12 pm *****Please bring your own mask. ****** *We will follow all CDC safety distance guidelines. **Wear closed toed shoes **Wear a Hope City red serve shirt or other merch if you have it.
