Come out and help prepare turkeys and portion food to feed 8000 meals to the homeless and less fortunate in Houston. Due to COVID-19 there is limited space and it will be much different than last year. 1. You **MUST** sign up at Operation Turkey's website: www.operationturkey.com 2. *Age limit is 16 and older 3. *You will need to sign waiver upon arrival, observe social distancing and wear your mask. We will be deboning and seasoning the turkeys and then put on the BBQ pit. Once this is completed, we will portion out the food and prep for Thanksgiving Day. DAY OF EVENT INFO: Please plan to show up at 8:00 am wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes for walking safety. You are always able to select what you would like to do. Cooking, cleaning, delivering, packaging or plating; there is always a job to be done. Any time and help you can offer Operation Turkey is greatly appreciated.
